Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year

Sierra Kid's Christmas Party 2005

The entire team at SpeedEndurance.com got together with Santa Claus for the annual 2009 Christmas photo.

If the team got any bigger, we would have to downsize :o)

At this time, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holidays.

Here are my goals for 2010 for SpeedEndurance:

  • With proper coaching and common sense, athletes of all ages will set a PB, SB or age group records.
  • Exposing more young people to the World's original sport by taking innovative steps within our schools' communities to keep our athletes in Athletics (Track and Field).  We are losing too many athletes to other sports.  Strength, power and speed are the fundamentals to all sports.
  • Educate the world that Track and Field is NOT held every four years.
  • Promote Masters Track as a positive influence for goal setting, healthy habits, and sportsmanship.  Medals are bonus.
  • Develop a renewed media presence to help promote our sport to the world
  • Expanding coaching and education by not blocking resources and making it freely available to everyone.
  • Recruit the next generation of volunteers and make it rewarding and fun.  Especially officials, which can be a thankless job.
  • Work together with all clubs, schools and groups so the sport will grow in all areas of Track and Field, and not only the 100 meter sprint.
  • Complete Speed Training
