This worked for about a week, until I started worrying that I would start worrying again.   In the Spotlight How to Keep a Resolution The year before that, I resolved to eat fewer salty snacks. About.com How to Make Lasting Changes I like this idea a lot: "Think in terms of goals, rather than resolutions." The word goal makes me feel much cheerier and less restricted. The word "resolutions" sounds so punitive. Like sanctions, only from the inside out.   New Year's Resolutions for Stress Relief Maybe this year, I'll make less stress my goal.
