I am a television enthusiast. This isn't cool, of course. You're supposed to say that you hate TV, or that you only watch educational programming, preferably with your trilingual children as a supplement to their education. TV in the 2000s, however, was a challenge even to the dedicated watcher.

I, on the other hand, take great pride in my enjoyment of the Worst Programs Ever Made. Pretty much, if there's a makeover or a haunting or anyone is training either a dog or a child, I'm in. These shows, however, were a little too much even for me. 'The Littlest Groom,' anyone?

Everyone went crazy for game shows in the aughts. My personal theory is that this is because the decade was bookended by recessions. Who wouldn't want a suitcase full of money under those circumstances?
