My shopping is mostly done, but my least favorite part of the holiday season - actually wrapping all these gifts - still lies ahead. What's so bad about wrapping gifts? If you have to ask, all I can say is you're clearly more coordinated than I am. Also, you should probably come over and do my wrapping for me, in the spirit of the holidays.

But seriously, how bad could it be? Pretty bad, I assure you. Yesterday, I decided to get a head start on my wrapping, and got through exactly two presents. It took an hour.

I used a whole roll of tape. And when I was finished, both presents looked like they were growing tubers or perhaps eggs out of at least one side of each package.

After about an hour, I had to lie down. My plan for the rest of my gifts? Creative wrapping ideas. After all, if I make interesting packages for my presents, maybe no one will notice that they're oddly shaped.
