Last night, I made a mistake. I tried to use my kitchen for something other than a source of cold water. Now, my house is hotter than a bakery on Mercury and my entire head has melted off.

Bonus points, by the way, for anyone who guessed that all I did was use the toaster. I'm still sorry. It was a poor idea.

Some people claim to lose their appetites when it's hot out. These are the same people who lose all their baby weight by chasing their kids around. Don't worry: We're not inviting them to our hot-weather dinner party.

Cool Food for Hot Days
These Chinese recipes can be served cold. If you take my advice, you'll make someone else make them for you, and spend the heat wave subsisting on mango ice cream and bubble tea.

No-Bake Dessert Recipes
One of these is called "Fruit Fool." I will obviously be eating this all year round from now on.
