From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
In the old days, getting a gift for my Dad was easy. I just put my handprint in clay, or made him a drawing in crayons, and he was perfectly happy. But now that I'm older, more employed, and less artistic, finding the perfect Father's Day gift is hard.

Homemade Gift Ideas for Dad

8 Frugal Father's Day Ideas
My favorite idea is the dream fund: "We all have something that we really want, but can't afford. ...This can be as simple as filling a jar with change or placing a few dollars in a savings account. The amount of money you contribute really isn't important - you just want to show him that you support his dream."

Great Gifts to Sew for Dad
I am so tempted to make this remote control organizer. My Dad has remote controls that do nothing but turn on his other remote controls.

12 Free Father's Day Gifts
There's nothing cheap-looking about these gifts. I want the record bowl for myself.
