The other day, I went over the household budget and figured something out: If we didn't have to eat, we'd be millionaires.

Seriously: food is the most expensive thing on our list, after rent. This seems unbelievable to me, although I guess I feel better about it than I would if it were after, say, cheap wine or jeggings. (The jeggings budget at our house is out of control! Just kidding. There is no jeggings budget. Shudder.)
