Every year at this time, I decide to become a plant person. This is either proof of my hopeful nature, or a sign of my naivete. The fact is, in all the years I've tried this plant experiment, I've never managed to keep 'em alive beyond a month.

7 Plants You Can't Kill
Even I would have trouble killing most of these plants. I think they should start selling houseplants with "Jen-proof" on the label, right under the care instructions.

Plants That Can Take the Heat
If you're an outdoor plant person, you'll probably want to find plants that can survive not only your lack of green thumb, but also weather conditions. (Like drought.)

How to Fertilize Houseplants
This might be part of my problem: I tend to throw water at my plants and hope for the best. Apparently, plants like something to eat now and then as well.

How to Choose a Healthy Plant
My tendency to leave the nursery with the potted-plant equivalent of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree might also be an issue.
