From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
Monday is the International Day of Procrastinating, according to experts (OK, just me). This is too bad, because for many of us, it's the day during which we need to be most organized.

Why Do We Procrastinate?
I've always thought that procrastination was one of those great mysteries of nature. After all, we must know that we'll have to do what we have to do sooner or later. Why put it off?

How to Stop Procrastinating
And yet, I procrastinate so often, it's almost a hobby. If I could figure out how to get paid for it, I'd be all set. (Of course, I'd put off picking up my check or setting up direct deposit, so it might not matter anyway.)

Get Back Your Time
Every time someone publishes an article on how much time we spend doing certain things - 7 years standing in line at the DMV, or what have you - I shudder. Because I know my list would include at least three years of saying, "Hmmm" and scratching my head while looking balefully at my to-do list.

A To-Do List That Works
But I do have a to-do list, so perhaps all is not lost. Now I just need to figure out if it's working for me.
