Further proof that we are living in the future: The technology now exists to allow people to test their genes - and thus their possible risk for certain cancers, type 2 diabetes, and Parkinson's diseases, among other diseases. The question is: Just because you can test - should you?

Should You Use a Home Genetic Testing Kit?
One concern is that consumers might not fully understand the results they receive. Just because you test positive for a particular gene associated with a disease doesn't mean you'll get it.
