It's been awhile, but if memory serves, this time of year is particularly trying on students. I recall that my brain was already reclining on a beach, while my body was sadly stuck in school for several more weeks. For this reason, we offer a few helpful tips on making those last essays shine as brightly as the ones you wrote in the fall.

The 10 Worst Student Essay Topics
Or: What not to write. Example: "OMGYG2BK: A Twitter Essay in 23 Tweets." I would like to point out that this essay, while almost certainly earning an F, would also most likely get a book deal for the writer.

How to Write a Personal Essay

Preparing an Argument
The great thing about this piece is that most students will find it helpful even after school lets out for the summer.
