Earth Day was made for hypochondriacs like me. Instead of worrying about our own health, we can obsess over the health of the planet. The trouble is, if you obsess over the health of the planet too much, you can become paralyzed to the point where it's hard to do anything about it.

5 Ways to Save the Planet (in 30 Minutes or Less)
Which is a shame, because small changes add up. For example, instead of fretting about global warming, I could, you know, take some of these soda cans on my desk out to recycling. A much more productive use of time.

See, I'm not alone: "According to a recent survey, not recycling is the #1 source of green guilt. And we all hate guilt, don't we? So, this Earth Day, recycle just one thing." It's a start!

What You Need to Know About Global Warming
My absolute favorite thing about this article is that it sums up the opposition to global warming as "scientists who say global warming is just a bunch of alarmist bullhonkey." I cannot tell you how happy I am to see "bullhonkey" used in a sentence.

10 Things You Can Do to Reduce Global Warming
Basically, I need to stop talking super-long, super-hot showers every day. I type for a living. I probably don't need to boil my hide for 20 minutes a day.
