About Today: What to Do With Stale Bread

No matter how careful I am, it's inevitable: At the end of the week, I will have at least half a loaf of stale bread. This seems nearly impossible to me, given the number of sandwiches we go through. My theory is that my cupboard manufactures stale bread.

However it got there, I want to use it up. It kills me to throw things away, even when they're growing penicillin cultures.

My vote, always, is for bread pudding. Just in general. I'd make bread pudding sandwiches if I could.
