I was telling my friend Michelle about my great love for Thanksgiving and she rolled her eyes. "You say that because you're not allergic to any foods," she said. "Otherwise, Thanksgiving would be the holiday during which your entire family tries to kill you, using only stuffing as a weapon."

This is a fair point. It's tough to be a food allergic person during the feasting season. But there are things you can do to make your Thanksgiving dinner safer for your food-allergic friends.
