According to scientific studies which I've made up right now, people gain between 45 and a million pounds every holiday season. This is upsetting, because it's bad for us and makes it hard to fit into our holiday finery.

How to Avoid Eating Too Much During the Holidays
You can, however, avoid pigging out at the holidays, fit in your pants, and feel healthy and virtuous during holiday dinners.

Planning Your Low-Carb Thanksgiving Dinner
My challenge this Thanksgiving is that I'm trying to watch my carbs, and Thanksgiving dinner is generally composed entirely of carbs, with carb sauce and a side of carbs.

Another toughie: Trying to eat a low-fat diet during the holidays. Or during any family dinner, really.

I like tip no. 2: Make Like a Rabbit. It's easy to forget about veggies on Thanksgiving, but eating lots of those will make it easier to skip seconds of mashed potatoes.
