This year, I will make my Halloween costume myself. And I will not dress up in a suit, and tell everyone that I'm Corporate America (2005), or wear sweatpants and carry a coffeepot and tell them I'm a writer (Halloween 2008, everyday that isn't Halloween since I became an adult). I will actually make something myself.

I would have killed for this yarn wig as a kid. In fact, when I think about it, with all the dyeing and styling we did when I was growing up, we were probably trying to recreate this look using our actual hair.
