From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
My Aunt Cheryl will tell anyone who asks that her cat Pumpkin chose her, and not the other way around. You know that game where you tap someone on the shoulder and then act innocent as soon as they turn around? Pumpkin did that to her when she visited the pound to pick out a cat.

Adopting a Cat From a Shelter
Pumpkin reached out his paw from between the bars of his cage, patted my aunt's shoulder, and then snaked his paw back in. I picture him whistling afterward. My aunt fell in love immediately.

Profile of Mixed Breed Cats
It must be said that this was a rare incident of cunning on Pumpkin's part, never to be repeated again. Mixed breed cats might be known for their hardiness, but Pumpkin didn't inherit much in the way of brains.

Tell Us About Your Cat
For example, I once saw him climb into a paper bag, decide it was night time, and go to sleep. Even the dog was horrified at that.

Cat Breeds A to Z
All the kittehs you can handle, from Abyssinian to, well, Turkish Van.
