Today's the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year. If you're a glass-half-full type, you're thinking that this also means that the days will get longer from here on out. Which is true, but you couldn't prove it by us, because winter seems loooong.

If you've got tiny humans at your house, you also know that winter is the official season of "Mom, I'm bored."
