Posted: 05 Jan 2011 06:00 AM PST Dear Readers, I don't plan on posting every single iPhone Apps out there just because last month I posted the iPhone Pistol App. Normally I use the SpeedEndurance FaceBook Fan Page to post a short daily snippet, usually a link to another web site or an interesting video for a coach or athlete. It appears as a feed and therefore not too intrusive for the FaceBook reader unless they are interested. I’ll either do a full review or perhaps list the top 10 iPhone Apps for Coaching, Running and Track and Field. Here is a neat iPhone App that you can record electrocardiograms or ECG (formerly called EKG in my days of Cardiac Physiology) with your iPhone and monitor cardiac activity. Alivecor will be showing off its new iPhone ECG system at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. NOTE: It is NOT available for sale right now and NOT cleared as a medical device in the USA! Remember to always get a second opinion from a qualified medical expert! Here is the video on YouTube: |
