I swear it was tax time just last month, and yet here we are again, scrambling to collect our paperwork and pondering deductions. If you, like me, can still recall a time when doing taxes involved a calculator, a pencil, and a great deal of swearing, you're probably as pleased as I am that we now have tax software to help us out.

10 Tips for Choosing Tax Software
Free or paid? E-file or mail-in? Basic, deluxe or premium? These are among the questions you have to ask yourself. (So OK. We're not totally done with the swearing part of tax season just yet.)

Online Tax Software or Desktop?
Personally, I'm all for online everything, and would use the magic of the interwebs to do everything I need, if possible, from doing my taxes to making dinner. However, there's plenty to be said for the desktop version.
